Feed the Kids Project
Every year, children in our community go hungry during the summer because they are no longer getting school lunches and do not have enough food at home. During the school year, many of these children receive food on Fridays at school that they can have over the weekend, but this does not happen during the summer months. Justice Project staff work with local schools and agencies to locate the children in our community that are in the greatest risks of going hungry. We then prepare food boxes that we distribute directly to the children each week in their communities.
