Elderly Assistance Project

The Justice Project provides assistance to the elderly in our community on a case by case basis. Typically we first encounter the individuals when they visit our food pantry, especially those who live in remote areas of the county. By developing relationships with the individuals, we often learn of other needs that they may have and try to assist them through providing direct assistance or working with other churches and agencies to provide what is needed.

Throughout western North Carolina, elderly people often live in remote areas under difficult economic circumstances. Isolation and limited financial resources lead to loneliness for people, especially those disconnected from their families. We are committed to sharing the love of Jesus and building relationships with elderly people in remote areas of our county.
